“My story is a Cinderella story, from “research girl” to Creator of 10 successful kids' shows!”

How it all began

From the spark of an idea to a team of 80, Blue’s Clues became a signature show.

Together we wrote, designed, produced, animated, directed, shot, edited & researched under one roof. That magic went on with Super Why & then Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood & more. I can’t wait to share my roller coaster journey with you.

The Creation Journey

The more I looked at the landscape of kids’ media, the more I wanted to create quality shows for them.

Super Why, my Masters’ Thesis from Columbia University-Teachers’ College, landed on PBS KIDS. I also soared into the arts with Creative Galaxy for Amazon Kids, & promoted the legacy of Mister Rogers with Daniel TIger's Neighborhood for PBS KIDS.

Along the way I started Out of the Blue, then sold the company, and started my interactive media kids' brand, Princess Penelope's Purse of Preposterous Things, a digital series and a 4 book publishing program from Loyola Press/4U2B (2025 release).

The creation journey

The more I looked at the landscape of Kids’ Media, the more I wanted to create quality shows for them.

SUPER WHY! , which was my Masters’ Thesis from Teachers’ College, Columbia University was the next show that landed on PBS KIDS. I also soared into the arts with CREATIVE GALAXY for Amazon Kids, and promoted the legacy of my beloved Mister Rogers with DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD for PBS KIDS.

Along the way I started a company, sold the company, and have focused on investing in my new media brand for kids, Princess Penelope's Purple Purse of Preposterous Things as an interactive digital series and a series of 4 storybooks (publisher Loyola Press; 4U2B))

My Enduring Truth

I believe kids deserve creative, smart shows from people who care about what they put out, into the world.

This truth has driven me to create smart media for kids with my unique voice and interactive approach. I’ve created a formative research methodology that changed the way networks and streamers make content for kids. I’ve created 10 shows in diverse areas of curriculum, which have endured the test of time.
